“Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity” —Simone Weil
—David Martinez
Hey there - my name is David. I was born, raised, and currently live in Los Angeles. I’m a father to twin, five-year-old girls.
Since graduating college, I’ve mostly worked as a producer in the visual storytelling space but I have begun to open myself up to new opportunities, outside of that familiar world.
I recently figured out that I really like building meaningful small businesses/organizations that are extensions of my genuine interests, that I can also operate. I’ve done it twice now with no real training and I’m using this season of life to try and develop a framework to continue to do so, in a sustainable manner, for myself and for others.
My brother and I started a fun lil’ grassroots non-profit, almost 10 years ago now, which helps divert food waste away from landfills and back into communities as a valuable, local resource.
